Gratitude Diaries #43

Today’s meditation verse is from Proverbs:

GD - PROVERBS 10.28

So when you feel like FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) is gnawing at you, take a deep breath and double down on your faith.

Our study verse helps clear up a popular misconception: we like to say Africans are communal as if the concept of community is foreign to people from other countries.

But it’s a falsehood; everybody needs somebody. Everybody thrives in an environment with people who love and support them.

Loneliness can kill as surely as poison can, and sometimes it can be a slower and more painful process.

Which is why today we are encouraged to pray for our family and those close to us and we’re using Numbers 6:24-26 to do so.

“ The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.”

So now we have two tasks: spread some love and remain hopeful in your faith. Let’s get cracking.
